WHAT IS A FULL LACE WIG WITH STRETCH?

A full lace wig is a wig which the cap is constructed of a lace material. This material is Ultra Sheer Lace and is virtually undetectable when placed against the skin. Stretch lace is a small section in the back part of the cap which is right below the crown but above the nape. This allows you to wear your hair in a high or low ponytail.

The hair is knotted twice to give the illusion it is growing from your scalp. The full lace wig is designed to give a much more natural look to the front and back hairlines than any conventional wig.

HOW THE HAIR LENGTH IS MEASURED?

The hair length is measured beginning from the crown to the longest hair in the back. They are made to look very natural. The hair length is alittle bit shorter in the front and graudually goes into a "V" in the back. Just as an FYI. If your looking to wear your hair in a ponytail, I would select the hair length of 16 inch and more. Hair lengths under 16 inches limits your styling options. To help get an idea of where the hair lengths will place on you, please take a measuring tape and place it at the crown of your head and let it fall down the desired hair length. You can also turn it around and let fall down the front of your face past your nose. This will give you an idea of where the hair length will place in the front as well.

HAIR TEXTURES?

Silky Straight hair texture is smooth free flowing hair yet it still has body.  Virgin Indian Remy Hair (Natural Straight and Natural Curly) is very natural looking.  Yaki Straight, Coarse Yaki and Kinky Straight is less free flowing and alittle stiff sometimes.  Chinese Remy - Straight Hair - Hair strands are thicker than Indian Remy.

WHAT TYPE OF LACE CAN I GET?

I use French Lace which is alittle bit thicker than the Swiss Lace but yet thin enough to creat a hairline which is virtually undetectable.  This lace is more durable than the Swiss Lace.  Following the wig care instructions are very important.

WHAT COLOR LACE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

If your skin tone is very fair, I would select Beige or Skin Color.  If you desire is to achieve an illusion of a scalp, I wouldn't select anything darker than light brown.  If you prefer to select medium or dark brown which will be closer to your skin tone, you can wear a brown color wig cap under your full lace wig which will give you the illusion of a scalp.

6.  GLUELESS CAP STYLE

The glueless cap style is another option to experience the lace wig without using tape or liquid adhesive.   The cap is made out of a stretch lace material which we currently have in two styles.   We offer this cap in two colors: Dark Brown and Medium Brown.  The Medium Brown lace color gives more of an illusion of a scalp when you part the unit than the Dark Brown color.   Also, these caps can be dyed with a fabric dye without damaging the hair color if you feel the lace is too light. 

The hair strands are individually knotted into the lace cap which can be parted in any direction.   This lace is alittle thicker than the french lace, so the use of the baby hair is used to help give a more natural look along the front hairline.   To create more security, you can sew in combs along the perimeter of the wig and attach it to your growth hair. If you select to use adhesive, this lace adheres well.   Also, you can still wear hair in a high ponytail. 

CAP STYLES?

Full lace with Stretch: This style is made with Swiss or French lace with stretch lace in the middle from ear to ear. The purpose of this stretch section is to help with styling. You shouldn't depend on this section to stretch if your purchasing a unit which might be alittle too small. With this cap style, you will achieve the most undetectable front and back hairlines.

Full lace with Stretch with adjustable straps in the back: This style is made with French lace with stretch lace in the middle from ear to ear with adjustable straps in the back. This cap style is attached with tape adhesive along the front hairline. The back hairline isn't undectable because it has the adjustable straps. The baby hair helps hide the back hairline. To make the back hairline more secure, you can sew in wig clips along the inside of the back hairline and attach the clip onto your hair. This unit can be worn in high ponytails.

Full lace with Stretch Glueless Cap: The cap style is basically a conventional wig with ventilated Indian Remy Hair. The front and back hairlines are NOT undectable, however, it is made with baby hair to help hide the hairlines. To help make this cap style more secure, you can sew in wig clips along the front and back hairlines and clip onto your hair. The lace along the circumference is not stretchable but the lace within the body of the wig is stretchable. This cap style can be worn in a high ponytail.

WHAT IS THIN SKIN

 Thin skin is a sturdy plastic (poly) material, which is place round the perimeter of the cap. The hair is injected, not knotted, into the plastic to give the appearance of the hair growing from the scalp. The thin skin is less breathable than lace. In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend using this material for the base of your wig unit.

WHAT IS DOUBLE DRAWN, SINGLE DRAWN AND VIRGIN INDIAN REMY HAIR

Double Drawn Indian Remy Hair:  Example in a 4 oz pack of hair the hair strands are the same length.  This hair has been processed to make the hair smoothier, to have more texture such as yaki straight, kinky straight.  Also this hair is processed to have different wave patterns such as deep wave.

Single Drawn Indian Remy Hair:  Example in a 4 oz. pack of hair the hair strands are are not the same length.  The hair is harvest by the donor pulling hair back into a ponytail and the hair is cut.  This hair is of highest quality because it is from one donor, little to no processing except for hair color added and the cuticle is left in tack. 

Virgin Natural Straight and Naturly Curly: This hair has harvest the same way as the single drawn hair.  This has is in the most natural state.  No hair coloring is added or hair texturizing.  It is the natural straightness and natural curl patten of the person who donated. 

THIS IS MY FIRST LACE WIG, WILL I NEED A STYLIST TO ATTACH MY WIG?

No, you don't need a stylist to attach your wig.  I will provide ATTACHMENT, CARE AND REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS with every wig purchase.  I also provide you with customer support so that you can call me or email me with any questions.  Also, I have several "HOW TO VIDEOS" which are very helpful in applying your full lace wig.

WHAT HAIR DENSITY WOULD I CHOOSE?

LIGHT is 80% of the thickness of an average head of hair

LIGHT TO MEDIUM is 100%

MEDIUM is 130%

MEDIUM TO HEAVY is 150% - Extra $25.00

HEAVY is 180% - Extra $35.00

My suggestion is light to medium density in sections 1,2,3 and medium density in sections 4,5,6 for a person with fine, thin hair and medium density to those with thicker hair.

WILL I NEED ANYTHING ELSE WITH MY WIG?

You will need a lace wig Tape Adhesive, Alcohol 99%, Scalp Protector, Lace Release and an Adhesive Remover.  Please do not use the usual bonding glue because it will destroy the lace.  The proper tape adhesive and etc. are listed on my website. 

HOW LONG WILL THIS WIG LAST?

WITH PROPER CARE, this wig may last from six (6) months to a year depending on the amount of time you wear your wig and how often you remove it. Styling, hair products, type of glue and remover will all play a factor on the longevity of your wig. Washing and combing the hair the wrong way will cause the knots to slip as well. I would suggest keeping oil products off of the knots as much as possible.

SKIN SAFE EXTENDED WEAR TAPE?

Yes! If you are a person that is extremely active and sweat a lot or swim, then I would suggest getting the "Super tape" or "Air Flex Tape". Both of these adhesives are extended wear tape and have great holding power. The AirFlex comes in 3/4 x 5 yards and 15 yards. This adhesive is a double sided tape which has small holes in it which allows the skin to breath. The top strip is divided in two which allows for easy removal of top strip while it's on your skin.

The SuperTape comes in 1/2 and 3/4 wide and 3 and 12 yards long. This adhesive is a double sided tape. The top strip is one solid strip

HOW LONG CAN I WEAR MY WIG?

You can wear your wig up two to three weeks. The wear time is determined strictly by the type of glue, tape adhesive, if you have growth hair or not and if you sweat alot. If you have to shave back your baby hairs in order to attach your unit at your natural hair line, the length of time is approximately 10 to 14 days. When your baby hairs grow back, it may interfer with the adhesive. Also if you sweat alot, the tape adhesive I have offer fight against the "Melt Down". Which means your wig unit will lift and move around once you begin sweating. However, if you sweat alot (Heat flashes), it does break down the tape adhesive faster. Invisi Bond liquid adhesive when used along with tape adhesive is excellent when you need touch ups.

BLEACH WASH - TO BE DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK

(2oz of Bleach in a gallon of warm water (put wig in water for 3 minutes - the water may turn yellowish), Rinse, Dip 2 to 4 times in 2oz of Almonia with 3 cups of warm water, Rinse, put wig in Shampoo Water for 5 - 10 minutes, Rinse, put wig in Conditioner water for 10 - 15 minutes (gentle comb through the wig), Rinse and let dry in front of a fan. I also gentle combed my hair piece through each step as well.
